As my Web sites tend to be heavier on images than narrative content, I am very pleased to be able to host some in-depth research that will be useful for those wishing to develop a broader understanding of these subjects, and also to find out the meaning of the cryptic markings are are found on various 1919 components. All of these articles were written by Charlie Brown of the 1919A4.com forum. Comments are welcome, and can be sent to either Charlie Brown or myself.

The Web is a wonderful place to find information, but someone has to put it there before it can be seen. There were trips to Rock Island Arsenal, many hours of pouring over files, and many more hours of writing and editing articles. Special thanks to Charlie & Jodie for their diligent research. Thanks also to Rollin and everyone else who gave of their time to bring this information to the collector community.
